Hi Jotter, been very slow in posting. This is because I’m not used to the idea of blogging every aspect of life 
.
In the past weeks, I’ve been working and experimenting on 2 projects.
First is the humble coasters…. You see, a friend gave me a set of glass coasters and they are very nice.

However, the drawback of it is that it does not absorb water and there is a fear of breakage when a hot cup is placed on it.
So, I need coasters that can absorb water and also firm enough to withstand the heat from a hot cup.
In other words, coasters good for both cold and hot drinks.
So, this is what I came up with… 
…..a coaster done in crochet and cotton yarn. Works very well!
Fine tuning it before releasing the instruction.
Looking forward to the completion!
